Web Developer
The Fox Valley Internet team is looking for an enthusiastic and talented mid-level Web Developer to design,
develop and support web-based applications.
QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED QUALITIES:
Good experience/knowledge of proper design and layout of web pages.
Strong knowledge and familiarity with HTML and CSS (and implications for cross- browser compatibility).
Strong knowledge and familiarity with PHP
Good working knowledge of ASP.NET.
Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Good understanding of web technologies and web security.
Working knowledge interacting with database backends (primarily MySQL and MS Access).
Experience with relational databases, including data modeling, writing SQL and query optimization.
Experience in developing secure online forms.
Experience supporting proprietary applications.
Experience creating marketing material, such as email newsletters, fliers and postcards.
Good working knowledge of MS Access forms, tables and queries.
Ability to create web design proposals for potential customers.
Self-motivated and resourceful
Is able to communicate clearly, both written and in speech.
Is able to suggest improvements to the various communications by the company (eg. website, FAQ, etc).
Has a pleasant, friendly style.
